Laboratory studies are the most informative method of diagnosis. They allow to detect pathologic changes in the body of our Patient at the molecular level, which is essential in understanding and preventing his or her illness. Laboratory data provide our doctors with reliable knowledge of the internal environment of the Patient, which provide a base for developint tactic of treatment and subsequent corrections of the therapeutic course. Laboratory of the immunology clinic IHT has the most modern equipment and employs leading world technology of hematological, biochemical, immunological, cytological and molecular studies.

Our laboratory performs:

Immunological studies - flow cytometry (immunoglobulins, immunophenotyping of lymphocytes)
Special blood tests that allow to determine the immune status of the Patient. They are very important in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases, endocrine system defections, recognition of malignant tumors at an early stage.

Cytological examination and histological studies

PCR diagnostics (polymerase chain reaction)
It is a method of molecular biology, which drastically increase the concentration of individual fragments of DNA in biological material (sample). It is used for the most accurate detection of infectious agents by DNA, diagnosis of hereditary diseases, as well as manipulations with nucleic acids for the benefit of the Patient's health.

Infectious panel by ELISA and ECL (ELISA):
This is a group of laboratory methods that allow to identify antibodies to disease in the patient's organism.

Determination of tumor markers
Locating specific substances (proteins, enzymes, degradation products of the tumor) in the blood and urine of Patients with cancer. The method is applied to the objectives of early detection of tumors, detection of metastases within 6 months prior to their occurrence and assessing the effectiveness of treatment of cancer.

The study of hormones
Studies of chemical substances (hormones) allocated by the endocrine glands to the blood or lymph capillaries. Hormones cause remote and complex effects on the whole body and individual organs in particular (heart, liver, kidney, vision system, the organs of the gastrointestinal tract, reproductive organs). Also, they are blood-borne regulator of important processes in the human body, including immunity.

Biochemical studies
Laboratory analysis of blood, which reflects the functional state of organs and systems of the human body (liver and kidney, bone and muscle tissue, fluid and electrolyte metabolism, the balance of trace elements). The advantages of the method are the high information content, the diversity of the studied parameters and visibility of results.

General clinical tests
Analysis of blood, urine and feces for diagnosis and monitoring of changes in the body during therapy.
