Immunology clinic opened in 2010 at the Institute of High Technologies (HTI). Here, in the early 80s of the last century, the best physicists, biologists, physicians and chemists of the USSR have united to develop efficient technologies for the regulation of biological processes by means of light (photon technologies). Several institutions of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine have gotten themselves involved in the research and experimental work in order to arm the medicine with a powerful tool to fight cancer, viruses, and immune diseases.
On one of the stages of scientific research in IHT,led by Kanevsky Valery Alexandrovich, a medico-biological laser cjmplex was developed. The uniqueness of the development was that the length of the generated laser beam could affect cellular processes in the human body. This opened up new opportunities for clinical treatment of the most complex diseases of the immune origin. After a series of preclinical and clinical tests medical community approved the innovative technology of laser therapy, and Ukrainian Ministry of Health officially allowed its use in clinical practice.
It was decided to put laser to the service of people, while leaving control over it in the hands of experienced scientists and doctors from various branches of medicine. Thus HTI Immunology clinic was created.
